PRUDENCIO "Jun" MIGUEL, JR.
PRESIDENT

Mr. Miguel is a registered civil engineer in the Philippines. He has been in the construction industry in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Guam for over 30 years now. He has served in various capacities while in the employ of H.C. Beck Arabia; DeMauro Shuwayer Construction Co. Ltd and A.H. Shuwayer Construction Co., all in Saudi Arabia. His exposure includes construction management, Contracts administration, Planning, Estimating, scheduling and value engineering. In his career, Mr. Miguel has managed several multimillion Dollar projects involving construction of commercial, residential and institutional buildings; Waste water treatment plant; Roads and Highways; Site development works; Oil pipelines and gas oil support facilities.

He joined Orion Construction Corporation (Guam) in 1994 as General Manager overseeing the day to day operations of the company. He became President in 2002. Mr. Miguel is a Corporate Director of OCCG.


ARMANDO T. ACOSTA
VICE PRESIDENT

Mr. Acosta holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and is a registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines. He led in the setting up of Trans Pacific Construction and Fabrication Corporation (TPCFC) in the Philippines in 1986 and was its President until 2006. Initially, the company focused on US military construction in Clark Air Base and Subic Naval Base in the Philippines. When the bases were reverted to the Philippines, The Company shifted to civil construction. The types of projects performed were industrial/commercial/institutional buildings, structural steel fabrication and erection of warehouses, storage tanks and communication towers. Mr. Acosta has 41 years experience in construction from 1965 to 2006 with companies such as Vinnell Corporation-Philippines, Caltex-Pacific Indonesia-Sumatra, Adrian Wilson & Associates, Demauro-Shuwayer Construction Co., Ltd and TPCFC. Mr. Acosta is a corporate Director of OCCG.


EVELYN B. PERNITES
MANAGER - FINANCE, HRD and ADMIN

Ms. Pernites is a B.S. in Commerce graduate in the Philippines and is a Certified Public Accountant. She started working from 1976-1985 for Philippines Polymide Insdustrial Corporation, a Filipino-Japanese joint venture manufacturer of raw materials for the textile companies, as an accounting staff then as the Importation-in-Charge and later as the General Accountant. From 1986-1988 she worked as the Accounting Manager for General offset Press, Inc. From 1990-1993 she was concurrently the Chief Accountant for several DeMauro group of companies, i.e. Dimauro Management and Holdings Corporation, Legacy Real Properties, Inc., Mantra Realty Development Corporation and Vibrante Furniture Manufacturing Corporation. In August 1993, she was transferred to Trans Pacific Construction and Fabrication Corporation, a subsidiary of The Orion Group, Inc., where she was the Controller of the Finance Division for 14 years. In December 2007, she was transferred to the affiliate company in Guam, the Orion Construction Corporation (Guam), as the Controller of the Finance Division. In April 2009 Ms. Pernites was promoted Manager for Finance, HRD and Admin directly reporting to the President.


ARNEL L. TORRES
ENGINEERING & ESTIMATING MANAGER

Mr. Torres is a graduate in B.S. in Civil Engineering in the Philippines. He started working as an architectural Draftsman in 1987-1989, then as Field Supervisor for civil and building construction in 1989-1993 with Trans Pacific Construction and Fabrication (TPCFC). In 1994, he was transferred to an affiliate of TPCFC, the Orion Construction Corp., Guam (OCCG), as Project Superintendent. After 3 years of field work, he moved to the main office of OCCG as Head Estimator for civil and building works. In 2003 he was promoted as Chief Estimator which he held up to June 2008. In July 2008, Mr. Torres was appointed Manager for Construction Operations Department directly reporting to the Vice President for Operations.


CARLOS M. SINAMBAN
CONTRACTS MANAGER

Mr. Sinamban is graduated in B.S. in Electrical Engineering and he is also a licensed professional Electrical Engineer in the Philippines. In 1975, he worked as Electrical Designing Engineer, with the 3rd Engineering Squadron of the US Air Force in Clark Air Base, Pampanga, Philippines. His stint with the Squadron was up to 1990. He joined Trans Asia-Philippines as Senior Electrical Designing Engineer 1990 - 1991. Mr. Sinamban migrated to Guam in 1992 and joined Orion Construction Corp., Guam as Electrical Estimator and later became Chief Estimator. Other positions he held in OCCG were Project Superintendent and Project Manager up to June 2008. He was appointed in July 2008, Manager for Estimating and Engineering Department directly reporting to the Vice President for Contracts, Procurement and Technical Services. Mr. Sinamban is a Licensed Master Electrician registered in Guam. He is the Corporate Secretary of OCCG.


MANOLITO V. MAGLAQUE
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mr. Maglaque has more than twenty seven years of experience in structural steel works and building construction and related site works. He started working as Field Engineer from 1983 - 1986 for Villamar Construction and Development Company. In 1987-1988 he handled several government projects as a labor contractor. In September 1988 he joined Trans Pacific Construction and Fabrication Corporation as QA/QC Engineer as Project Engineer. After 3 years he became Project Manager for various cell-site communication towers and control rooms and four Mormons Churches. In 2003 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President for Operations overseeing several concurrent projects in various regions of the Philippines. He joined Orion Construction Corporation (Guam) in 2008 as Project Supervisor assigned to various projects, such as Guam Harvest Multiplex Facility and DPW Guardrail Replacement. In November 2009, Mr. Maglaque was appointed Manager for Operations Department directly reporting to the President.


EMELINO S. LUARTES
PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Mr. Luartes has a degree in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines. He has more than twenty nine years of vast work experience in various construction projects, project & construction management, estimating and quantity surveying of low rise buildings, housing projects, land development works, roads, structural steel works, communication towers, churches, etc. in category Double A and Triple A construction companies in the Philippines. He has attended various trainings, seminars and workshops in supervision, construction management, construction and cost estimation. Prior to joining Orion Construction Corporation (Guam), he was a Construction Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle and Operations Director at Binswanger Philippines involved in project management, planning, procurement, scheduling, coordination, construction monitoring, cost control and close out documentation of projects in fit out works. He is currently assigned as Procurement Manager directly reporting to the Vice President.


JOHN ROBERTS
SAFETY CONSULTANT

Mr. Roberts is the Safety Consultant of Orion Construction Corporation (Guam) that conducts weekly field inspection in all ongoing projects of the company. He prepares and provides Safety and Health Manuals based on site audit and scope of work. He represents Orion Construction Corporation (Guam) on all matters pertaining to safety compliance, and works with OSHA Guam Consultation Services to identify potential hazards at worksites, improve occupational safety and health management systems to qualify for a one year exemption from routine OSHA inspection. Mr. Roberts is a Certified Professional in Health, Environmental and Safety Technology. He is currently the Vice President of Triple RRR Safety Services from June 1996 to present. As an OSHA Authorized Trainer, he conducts monthly 10 - 30 hour OSHA Competent Person classes in specialized training such as Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Excavation/Trenching, confined Space and Electrical Lockout/Tag out. He is a member of the National Association of Safety Professionals and the National Fire Protection Association. He served in USAF for six years and Guam Army National Guard for two years.
